After a disheartening experience with a kitchen remodeler, our client really wanted a professional home builder that she felt comfortable working with to design and remodel the bedroom wing of her home. We completely rebuilt and added onto the east half of our client’s home. An old sunroom was removed and replaced with a much larger and much nicer guest bedroom and bathroom addition. The new guest bathroom features a curbless, accessible steam shower.
There is a large covered walk out porch along the entire south wall of the guest bedroom. Our client also has a section of the guest room dedicated for working on her bead artwork. This area is lit on three sides by windows in the new addition.
H & H Builders installed tubular skylights to light the dog room, master closet, hallway and basement bathroom. The existing master bedroom was remodeled with a new layout that provides room for a large soaking tub, his & her sinks & vanities, a new shower and separate rooms for the toilet & closet.
We also installed a new high efficiency door opening onto the second floor deck which overlooks the gorgeous mountain valley below their home. The new master bedroom suite is brighter, more comfortable and spacious with a better layout, and great exterior access and views. We also remodeled two basement bedrooms and converted a single bathroom into two powder rooms with a shared walk in shower. A soapstone countertop and sink were installed to finish off the basement entertainment area. American Clay with soft colors was used throughout the project to finish the walls & ceilings, instead of standard painted drywall. The remodeled basement is great for entertaining and sheltering family and guests.
