This young family’s 860 s.f. home did not function well for them. They needed more room in their small dark kitchen, space to relax as a family, and a Master Suite.

Building a 2-story addition was the perfect solution to achieve everything on their “must have” list. The kitchen was renovated and a larger island was added to expand the workspace. The first floor of the addition gives the family plenty of room to relax, unwind, and catch up on their favorite shows.

The Master Suite occupies the second floor. Note the barn door that adds a fun design element and doubles as a closet door.
