Foothills Deck Addition - Boulder County
Nestled in the foothills north of Boulder, this home boasted spectacular views
of the eastern plains; however, the existing balcony offered only a limited
field of vision and could accommodate very few people. We worked with the
homeowners to extend their recreational and entertainment space, designing and
creating 1,200 square feet of new decks outside the lower and main floors of
their home. Highlights of the project include a sunken hot tub on the lower deck
and a gas fire pit on the upper deck. The Trex deck planks and custom-designed
tubular steel railings ensure low-maintenance and high-performance while letting
the view take center stage.
